Yes I had people say the answers are all in the bible, but that's a pretty big book. And I am interested in looking into this "End Times" stuff, but would like to zero in on the subject. So any help would be appreciated.

Don't bother. Poeple have been saying that we are living in the "End Times" (the period immediately before the end of the world/second coming of Christ/Judgement day) for a thousand years. I don't mean "a thousand years" figuratively but literally, one thousand years ago there were people all over Europe saying they were living in the "End Times".

Now it could be possible that the "End Times" last a long time. A far as you are concerned though I wouldn't be worried unless they are coming within the next 80 years or so (depending on your age now). So with any meaningful "End Times" lasting for less than 100 years how come they have been predicting the imminent start of this hundred years for over a thousand?

There are two answers, one Christian, one for everyone (including Christians). The universal one is that all these people talking about "End Times" from a thousand years ago to today have been talking about stuff they have no knowledge about.

The Christian one, which Christian end-timers manage (or conspire?) to remain ignorant of, is that Jesus said that he would come back "like a theif in the night" - that is to say that the "End Times" will come without anyone knowing about it.

"End Times" theory is, as a result, a load of nonesense much like all those rather unpleasant conspiracy theories that run around. It tends to be supported by those branches of Christianity that, whilst not quite cults, are deeply anti-rational, manipulative and dishonest.

I'd steer well clear of this [self censored].

There is a book series "Left Behind" written by Dr. Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins that explores this theory. Both authors have many publications available on this topic and if you are interested should read. I would visit the local library to find the book of choice from either of these authors or several of their contemporaries. Otherwise read Revelations in the bible. It discusses this.

The majority of it is in the book of Revelation, Daniel 12, Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 2. There may be more elsewhere, but I haven't found it yet.

Most people that read the quran become muslim. Try reading it and learn about all the signs that there are that lead to the day of judgment. Its very intersting, and you will find the signs to be occuring on a regular basis.

Just read Revelations
It's a very hard chapter to understand so I would buy a study guide to read along with to help your questions.
