It depends. Electric razor may take a long time to get used to, but it's less of a hassle than blade and foam once you do.

A straight razor is the closest shave you can get. razors are usually better than electric shavers. If you have a problem with 5 o'clock shadow you gotta use razors.

A regular blade will give a closer shave and less skin irritation. Also, you'll feel cleaner and smoother.

i have a very fine beard and sensitive skin...electrics pull my hairs out even with stiffening lotion on. I use a bic sensitive razor with skin lotion, it's better than even shaving cream and better for your face.
