In other words, will it damage my tongue in any way or is it bad to get them done so many times?

no it wont' mess up your tongue, but I suggest a stopper if you are taking it out for long periods of time.
The tongue regenerates at a rapid pace and can usually be taken out for a few hours at a time; in order to put it back smoothly.
I had that problem myself and would simply repierce it myself by jabbing in my bar, not smart, but it didn't have any negative consequences for ME.

It wont have a bad affect on you but if youve had it done so many times before and it keeps closing, why keep piercing it? Just so it can close again...?!

I have had mine done three times just go see the piercer and they will pick out the safest spot for the piercing ( no scare tissue or veins etc.)

No...your tongue will be fine.All long as you take care of it after you get it pierced,it's just gonna hurt a little.But you already know that.

Why would you want to jepordize your teeth with one of those things? And besides they are soooo trashy looking! Good luck finding any good employment w/ that crap on your body!

well, tounge peircing is gross to begin with. and it wont do anything, my sister got it done so many times & nothing happened
