I'm thinking that number can't be true because that number is way to high for me to still feel good about myself.

That sounds like an accurate number... I am in the U S Army and deployed to Iraq. But many of those deaths are suicide bombers killing iraqi's.... and private security companies as well.

NO. Obviously, you didnt read how they invented the number.

"Researchers randomly selected 1,849 households across Iraq and asked questions about births and deaths and migration for the study led by Gilbert Burnham of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland.

They extrapolated the figures to reflect the national picture, saying Iraq's death rate had more than doubled since the invasion. "

No body count. Just go around the street and ask random people if anyone they know has been born or killed. F_ing retards. They're just inventing BS because it's election time.

it fairly is a disaster. issues have been already undesirable because of the fact of sanctions, and because we assisted Saddam to stay in power and to attack Iran; now issues are worse, and maximum in all probability gets worse nevertheless, no count if we are residing there or no longer. No-you may administration the region, which comprise no longer Iran and Syria, and no person is conscious what the end result would be - which it tremendously frightening for each man or woman interior the region, and for all and sundry it incredibly is apprehensive approximately jihadists getting a real power base. My coronary heart is going out to the suffering human beings of Iraq, who did no longer something to convey this on themselves (different than for sh!ts like Saddam of direction).

No--not even close. And here is a link to a liberal news source stating the death toll around 100,000 in January:

http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/WhosCounting/story?id=1432589

"The figure researchers came up with at that time — 15 months ago — was approximately 100,000 dead, albeit with a large margin of error."

A close look at the actual study, reveals that this number is so loose as to be meaningless.

it's probably true but these people are killing each other. we are not killing them. they are in the midst of a civil war shi-ites against the Sunnis. mind you they are both Islamic but they hate each other. Saddam knew what he was doing when he ruled with an iron hand. we should let them vote to see if they still want us there. if not we should get out if they do then we should crush the rebellion instead of this lets wait to see what happens attitude.

I totally dislike your "name" for this site. It indicates that you are most likely a Demorat. That means that the majority of information you acquire must be from the twisted, preverted, left wing press. So, in answer to you question No, it is not true.

that's what I read too. This is no Darfur but we're getting close. Bear in mind that the vast majority of these deaths were caused by fellow Iraqis or other non-coalition forces.

Too much, yet not that much. The numbers appears to be between 60.000 to 100.000 No one could say for sure. Because we are not privvy to classified information, no one, except a few, could say for sure and honetly.
