try using Velcro or plastic rollers on wet hair and let your hair dry on the roller...just use extra hold mousse on wet hair before rolling...when you take the rollers out it will stay a lot longer than hot rollers because you hair dries in the curl....use a little aerosol hairspray after taking the roller out.....do not brush...just tousle with your fingers

I would roll your hair while it is still wet/damp let it dry and it should hold it a bit longer, also add gel or mouse before you roll. After you take them out and style your hair finish with some hair spray to help keep the shape.

my hair does the same thing, my hair was straight as a board when i was younger and i think that has a lot to do with it that my hair just won't hold curls but maybe try a little gel and then hairspray afterwards might help it stay longer. it generally holds mine for a few more hours than with just using hairspray.

Try getting a body perm. This will help the curl last longer.

Wet Set your hair. Use Lotta Body Setting lotion on wet hair and roll my hair up nightly. My curls last for a week without adding more setting lotion, and their also have bounce and shine.
