Well, I've always thought we make our own heaven and hell in this life because I do not believe there is a next. The only difference is that in religious dogma only the evil people go to hell. The victims of rape, torture, famine, etc. have done nothing to deserve what has happened to them.

I believe that we could be ghosts as well...such as other worlds existing right on this planet and going about their daily lives just as we are. And occasionally, we catch a glimpse of this world and call it the "paranormal." Perhaps we are the paranormal to them. I do not believe that we are in HELL per say, I do not believe that there is a hell. Or a heaven for that matter. I believe that HELL and HEAVEN were created in a book so that Man would never find the real truth to his existence on earth. He'd be frightened to. Because all the questions and crazy things humans do to find the truth of LIFE and DEATH, is a "Sin" in the bible, called witchcraft or "Divination" and we are damned to this terrifying place called HELL if we pursue our curiosity. Perhaps if we did know all the answers, there would be no point in living. If we knew the answer to where we go at the end of our lives, maybe it would destroy the power of the Church, the power that Religion has on the world. Wars were fought for religion, people were massacred in the name of religion, and empires were built based on religion. The world we live in is a terrible place, most will agree, but if you believe in the whole Adam and Eve thing, more specifically Noah, and the great Flood. Didn't the flood happen because the world was a complete disaster, with murders, rapes, homosexuals, theft, cruelty, etc. etc. (no offense to homosexuals or family/friends of homosexuals, really, I am quoting the Bible here) Haven't we just legalized gay marriage? Hasn't crime risen to an outstanding level? AND a huge war is surging as we speak. GOD sent the flood to wash the world of all this hundreds of thosands of years ago.....maybe it might happen again? I mean, the weather and climate is changing significantly, is this "God" getting pissed off? Maybe the whole Bible crap never happened. Like I said earlier, perhaps the bible was created to keep man from finding the truth of existance. The "proof" that you are seeking, doesn't exist, if it did, all hell would break loose. ;)

Hell is the absence of God. Even in all the suffering here on Earth , people can still find redemption, relief, deliverance and joy. There is no goodness in hell.

god created heaven and hell and i believe they are separate from earth - how can this be hell (even though at times it does make you wonder) we have things here i dont believe you could find in hell - like love for one-another (i know they say love is hell) as far as proof - i have none and if you find your answer on this site then someone is lying to you because they have no proof either..

Our planet's called Earth. I've never heard of a planet called Hell.

That's what I always said. If there were flames shooting from the sky and scary-looking creatures running around with pitchforks, I don't think we'd be able to tell the difference.

because in the bible god created the earth and created man out of clay of the earth, yes it is sad and horible that man is turning on each other and destoying the earth with pollution which causes so much illness , but it is all caused because man is turning away from god

Sometimes I wonder the same thing. But there are some moments of great joy that make me wonder how anyone could not want to live.
