You need to be firm. She is taking advantage of you. Put her to bed and if she gets up then put her right back in it. If she gets up again then put her back in her bed. If you have to do it all night then do it. Don't give into her or she'll be a terror later on. Good luck and God bless.

How about getting her a "sleepy doll" friend? It could be something really cuddely that is only allowed on her bed. Then if she gets out of bed she cannot have it. Maybe get her one of those canopy bed tops so she can have a "secret" garden or new sheets with her favorite character. Maybe her bed is uncomfortable. Maybe it makes noises when she moves. I'd explore those options first. Good luck.

My children are not into sleeping in their own rooms. One thing you can do is put her bed next to yours. Let her fall asleep with you and then move her into her bed. Move her bed away from yours a few years later. When she enters middle school or before if she wants, redecorate her bedroom, buy a new quilt and sheets and she will be proud to sleep in her new room.

We had then same problem with our daughter. Every night she would end up in our bed..She was older than yours when we found a solution, but maybe it will work...She alwways had a night lamp..a regular lamo with a 20 watt bulb...and we bought stars and such that glowed at night to put on her ceiling. She started staying on her bed afer that.

yeah BeachCraz! She is 4. Put her to bed and tell her to stay in her own bed...she is old enough to know to stay in her own bed. and you must be worse than me, a hard sleeper to not hear your child get out of bed walk into your room and climb in bed with you...

Let your child sleep with you as long as possible.
