I was watching country videos yesterday and saw that a lot of the girl singers had long hair with big curls. Do you think their hair is naturally that way? How do you think they get hair like that? Do they use curlers, a curling iron, or what? Is it all even hair or do you think there are layers involved? I'm growing my hair out and would love to have a do similar to what those singers have. Can anyone (preferably someone who has the do or a hairstylist) help me? How long do you think it would take to do in the morning? I realize that they have lots of stylists all working professionaly just for their hair, but as a commoner, how can I get the look?

I'll tell you how I get it.....its really simple, easy, inexpensive and us "commoners" can do it :)

Ok, wash your hair like you normally would except for do it at night. After you are done towel dry it a little then spread hair gel through out if evenly. After that blow dry your hair until it is almost dry but not all the way. Then french braid it in one single braid starting from the crown of your head to the very tips of your hair and put an elastic at the end. Then set it with a bit of hairspray and you are done until the morning! The next morning, about 10 minutes before you leave spray your hair with hair spray again and hit it with hot air from your blow dryer for about a minute. Then take it out and fix with your fingers (DO NOT use a comb or brush or anything like that, just your fingers) and set it with hair spray.

Voila! Beautiful waves! I wear this hairstyle all the time (my hair is very long and thick) and I always get compliments on it so I'm assuming you will also ;).....Good Luck!

Some videos like "We Never Loved At All" -- Faith says she had a wig on for that one. Also, I've found that female talent hair takes a LONG time to make up. It's rolled, sprayed, frizzed, etc. In some cases, extensions are used. We usually give a female artist a good two hours to go through hair/makeup/wardrobe before an oncamera appearance. In our world, however, our on camera talent has to look good or we don't look good. :)

You need a hair dryer, hot rollers, lots of hairspray and a round brush for teasing. Combine all of these to get a totally country-fied look.

their hair is layered and they use big Velcro rollers on wet hair, and let it dry and then a large curling iron...you can also use hot rollers on dry hair
