The medical dictation says " he takes medication for hypertensuria"

I am very familiar with the word hypertension, so that is not what I'm looking for.

I bet it's hypertension. There is nothing called hypertensuria. I work in the medical field so I'm pretty sure it's suppose to say " he takes medication for hypertension "

Yes Lou seems to have the right idea.
Hypertension is a very common affliction that affects over 20% of the population in North America.
It's also known as High Blood Pressure" and is treated with Alpha, Beta, and Calcium Blockers such as Adalat. These are used along with Diuretics such as Indapimide which rid the body of excess water and salt.
