i'm 20 and moving out of home and into my own apt i'll be living alone no roomates i don't trust a complete stranger moving in but i know that i will feel completly lonley coming home every day to an empty house and my family is leaving the state any advice?

Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Try to find good friends to hang out with and keep you busy. Make your place somewhere you want to come home to. Keep it nice and clean even if you have to pay someone to do it for you!

Get a cat. Buy some mace for protection. Maybe have a girls night out once a week to get out of the house once in awhile. Surround yourself with things that remind you of home and family to keep from feeling lonley.

The best piece of advice that I can give you is to save money any way that you can. You will always have issues come up that cost money to fix, then if you don't have the money to fix the problem, it will become worse, you will take from bills that need to be paid or you will have to borrow. Just live within your means.
Also, be careful about who you let into your life (and home). You will do fine as long as you are aware!

At first it will be scary, but just think you can come home at any time and it's your house and your things. If you get real lonely and you are allowed to have pets then buy one. Things will get better, you now have your independence.
