I'm in a fairly new relationship. We were doing the "getting to know you" thing for like 2 months and just became an actual couple last week. Even before this, I just kind of felt at ease with a lot of things regarding trustworthiness in our relationship. How did you get to the point where you felt like you could completely trust your significant other, or what made you loose trust in them? Any advice having to do with trust?

i think finding out about their past relationships helps...what happend to their last girlfriend..did he end up cheating on them or anything thing like that. If not than thats one more step onto trusting him. Finding out what love really means to him, also what he wants in his life does he want to go out and party for his next 20 years or does he have plans such as getting married having kids getting a house by the time hes 30..or at least hoping so. I look at how he acts when he hears about others cheating, does he argee with it or does he believe its wrong. You need to take it slow for about a year and a half and slowly get to know mroe and more about him and really know him inside and out.

Trust completely, but verify. You can use time to decide whether or not you can trust her. Just trust her until you find out otherwise.
