If I have a crush on a girl in school, but dont say anything, people still know. And every time so far, someone has said (x) lekes you, they were right. Today a girl next to me in class said i think (x) likes you, in a fairly certain tone. Thing is, this (x) is my best friend (I'm a guy shes a girl), so do you thing she is right? Can peers tell these things?

sometimes. i was in the same situation. i was best friends with a guy and everybody said that we liked each other. what happened was that i didnt like him like that, but he liked me. so we went out anyway. but my peers were right when it cam to him liking me even though i was blind to it... so i guess its different for everyone, but usually they should be right.

Pretty much most of time people from the outside can see things you can't. It maybe obvious too because of the way you two treat each other. I know people always say you should be friends before you date, but that is not always the case..I don't think it's a good idea to date someone with mutual friends and in the exact same school as you.. That's me personally...There will always be problems and confusion because all of your other friends will be involved some kind of way in your relationship.. Be-careful and try to think before you speak.. You don't want to gain a girlfriend and loose a best friend.. (FYI) Friends are forever, it's not guaranteed she will be your girlfriend forever...

it is not uncommon for a best friend to start to have those other kind of feeling for you especially if it is a girl because trust is important to girls and she would trust her best friend more than anyone. tell her someone told you that she liked you and you want to know from her . she is your best friend right you should be able to talk about this. if she says no accept her at her word. if she says yes be ready to deal with how you feel about the situation and tell her how you feel. maybe you can be more than friends.
