Here goes:

There will be some pain. It is a 14 gauge needle being pushed through your tummy. If you are very skinny it may hurt a bit more. Pain is relative and depends on the person. Some may think it hurts and others, like me, don't.

Navel piercings take 6 months MINIMUM to well over a YEAR to fully heal. This means that you cannot change the jewelry, touch it with unwashed hands, wear tight clothes on it, let other people touch it, go in a pool hottub or ocean during this time. Any of these activities increase your risk of infection and rejection.

It may be sore for a couple hours or a few months. It depends on how well your body heals.

Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, neosporin or any other products that say "not intended for deep or puncture wounds" on them. A piercing is a puncture wound and you need to give it aftercare, not first aid.

If your piercer does not explain aftercare and healing to you before he/she starts, then leave, That shop only cares about your money and not your health.

I had mine done 8 years ago and it didnt hurt at all. I didn't feel a thing when it was done or after. To minimise the risk of infection fill your belly button with warm salty water a couple of times a day and wipe with clean dry cotton wool. If you are worried that you may get an infection I would strongly advise you to buy a bottle of Savlon Antiseptic spray, you can get it at all chemist and it works wonders on everything, including spots, cuts and any type of skin infection. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine and it'll look amazing!

A little bit when at the time and it throbs afterwards. The first couple of weeks were quite painful and for a while after when something rubs or catches on it.

Be very careful to keep it clean though. I used a wash I bought from the place I had it done and used savlon antiseptic spray for a good six weeks after.

yes it is sorer than ears. I recommend you get a good disinfectant(dettol) as it need a very high standard of hygiene afterwards its a very sensitive area and can get infected very easy. when your getting it done make sure the salon is highly recommend and the person doing the piercing has all the proper qualifications. good luck and remember hygiene is the key to no infections.

It hurts maybe only a little bit more than ear lobes. And it won't get infected if you take care of it correctly. Ask the person doing it if they have any after care sheets for you. The biggest thing is trying not to catch it on anything. That will hurt.

yes, you will be sore for a few weeks, but be sure to keep it clean so that it doesn't get infected! One other thing, think about the difference in the way you use your ears as to the way you use your stomach...your abdomen moves a lto more so the healing will take longer! Good Luck!

its not really much worse than getting your ears peirced except it stays sore a little longer, or if something hits it it can hurt everyone seems to have a different experience mine only hurt a couple days, just make sure you keep it clean saline solution is a good way to do that

I didn't think it hurt.It is more of a weird feeling but not really pain.Make sure you clean it and turn the ring regularly and make sure ring is sterile when you get the peircing. Peircing ears is much more painful.

its sore for about a week but as long as you clean it it should be ok its no worse then getting your ears pierced just make sure your clothes dont get caught in the ring and be careful when having a shower

it's different for everyone. the only thing your going to feel is like a pinch when he puts the needle through. but you may or may not feel pain later on that night. it may also be a little sore for like a couple of hours, but other than that it doesn't hurt at all
