Love at first sight isn't a fairy tale, but how can you 'love' someone by just looking at them? You may be lucky and love the way someone looks and then when you get to know them they happen to be fantastic! That would be great but highly unlikely. When you truly love someone you don't know why or how or when, you just do... It's not the way they appear to you the first time you saw them, it's so much more.

I really do believe in love at first sight. I met my wife 15 years ago and i feel in love with her right off the bat.. however I was too shy to ask her out and my friend did instead. He was very mean to her and we lost contact for about 5 years. When I came home from Basic Training I met her and we have been together ever since. I love her now as much as i did the first time I saw her.

Since I believe love = the embodiment of ones highest values;
~ If your only values are aesthetic ones, than yes, love is possible at first sight. Shallow as it may be.
But if you have values that include things like ethics, philosophy, etc. then it would take spending time wit that person to know if it is love.

I believe in lust at first sight but not love at first sight. Love has to do with connecting both physically and emotionally. You can't know too much about a person with only their physical appearance as a guide.

I fell in love with my fiancee at first sight. We've been together since we first met each other back in Nov 2004. We found each other physically attractive and the chemistry was the strongest I've ever felt. To breathe her in, is heaven on earth.

I beleive that one can be captured by ones beauty, but to be honest I cant love you until I know whats in your heart, I have met many beautiful ladies, but the on the inside after we got to know each other its as if I have entered satan den, and i have met some truly unattractive ladies that were so beautiful on the inside, heart and intentions so pure you can overlook the physical beauty, is it possible to get lucky with love at first site maybe it is, but if true love is going to exist it has to be more than physical attraction

I believe in erections at first sight, but love means so much more. You have to get to know someone to love them,and you cannot do that just by looking.

You're able to fall in love with the way someone looks but that is not love .... You can really love a persons initail characteristics but that still isn't love .... You truly need to get to know someone before you can say you love them ... When you love some one you love everythinng about them the good & inspite of the bad.

I believe in it, I'm still in love with the girl from h.s. that now I can only be friends with since both she and I were married long ago, but to other people!
