A sicky is when you pretend to be sick to stay off work/school.

plus, it won't be every Thursday it will just be until I sort something out.

i can do "overslept by an hour" as well as long as i miss the first lesson for a few weeks, or however long it takes.

You need to sort out what is wrong in the first lesson of the day on Thursday, not run away from it like this. You are learning a bad life lesson.

It will be noticed and you're done for.
If you need every Thursday off you'll have to speak to your manager or HR.
Perhaps they'd be willing to let you have unpaid time off, or accumulate your hours so that you can work extra hours over the rest of the week to make up.
Don't keep pulling sickies. It may affect your ability to hold down your job, get a reference and another job in the future.

As a manager, I have noticed it in the past as late as 5 weeks, and as soon as 3. It all depends on how the company you work for tracks attendence.

If this is something that you feel needs to keep you out of work on Thursdays, ask for Thursdays off.

first things first shame on all you people above (unless posted while i was typing this and they are saying the same sort of thing) cant you all see there is a teenage girl here worried about going to school, instead of giving her advice about pulling a sickie you should be helping her sort it out shame on you all!!! (sorry rant over now)

taking a look at the other questions you posted around the same time as this one i take it you are avoiding your ex boyfriend, im not going to lie to you it does take time to get over it but it will take longer if you keep avoiding him.
the sooner you face him and get on with your life the better.

you will get over it trust me you're not the only one sweetheart!
if this is not your problem i suggest you find someone you can trust to talk to and share your problem (a problem shared is a problem solved).

take it from me i missed out on allot of education now i regret it I'm 24 and have no qualifications and have just started collage for my g.c.s.e's.

i hope it all works out for you

Just say you have a 'personal' doctors appointment (look flushed and embarrassed) then say you been given some medicine and have to go back next week for a blood test and to hand in a sample then the following week is results and..........oh dear, its not good! the medicine had no effect! the doc wants to try something else.......and so the weeks pass by.
If anyone asks just remember to look embarressed, they'll put it down to a 'down there' problem!

twice and then your boss may well become suspicious how about going to your manager and telling him that you cannot work on a Thursday instead makes it a lot easier i would say.
