When did Adam (peace be upon him) live ?? Is ISLAM the only religion which has no contradictions with that because it tells about ZulKarneyn (probably the great Neanderthal king) and Gog and Magog (probably homo erectus with shorter heights) who were humans (of other races) and children of Adam, and NOT the children of apes, because according to the fossil record, NO apes ever lived who had more similarities to humans than the living apes ??
(In christianity Gog and Magog lived only few thousands years ago because the God's Bible was lost so Christians don't know about their time.)

LOL you are asking a bit difficult question , coz if you know when Adam "Peace Upon Him" then you will know when Life started on that Earth , don't forget he lived with Eve in Heaven then came down
Scientifically and I see that you are trying to combine between religion and science "Homo erectus" and this is great , anyway as I say scientifically you may get lost in the contradicting Pieces of evidences on when Humans started to roam the earth

Religiously I believe Islam is more accurate , I read the Book of Genesis and another book written by a Muslim scholar in the middle ages based upon Jewish and Christian records , but it is full of folk tales and imagination just like the book of Genesis
You can reach to a near time if you can know when Noah "Peace upon him lived" and you can find this , if you found the big Ark and examine it to know its age , already the Ark is believe to be in Mount Ararat in Turkey and we know that Noah was preaching his people and they didn't listen for almost 950 years "I read it somewhere" so Little calculations you can find approximately when Noah lived and so it would be easy to predict When Adam lived Peace upon them all

in any case, adam didnt sleep with a 6 yrs old girl nor did he stone to death anyone who disagreed with him on his naming of the animals. he also didnt despise woman, but gave her a name, and called her woman.
