She had always intimated she had a "past" which I knew going in. She had been in lesbian relationships before, which I also knew, but she still sees her ex gf because they know a lot of the same people. I met her ex gf the other night which was a good thing for me (and my gf too, I suppose) and we were really cool with each other. She even gave me some advice on reading my gf. My question is, why was that a big deal for her to have me meet her ex? No threesome talk 'cause it's not going to happen.

Maybe she thought you would think less of her ( no matter how much you have assure her that you would not). Or maybe she didn't want a scene. But all in all that's pretty cool. Maybe it's important to her because she wants to remain close friends with this girl. And if you're going to be in the picture it's always best if you can get along and like each other.

they are still friends and she felt it was important for you to meet the ex so you maybe would not feel insecure about her meeting up with her every once in awhile
