I find him so annoying but I can't put my finger on why. He's thekind of guy I would have beat-up in 5th grade.

Why just him, all those washed up hacks are useless, I am a chef, but now retired, and I find that any of them who actually went to school and are real chefs, are sellouts, only doing those programs for there own self pleasure and egos.
I saw the other day how Emeril Gasbag has lines of pots and pans, knives now has 8 restaurants and is still flogging his crumby cookbooks. That is what sickens me, I was in the business to serve the public, my career was a good one and I had some decent reviews in the operations I ran, but never wanted to be famous, my acceptance was the reward I got with the customer's comments and the businesse's success, and my paycheque going up. That's all, the food network is purely entertainment nothing else, they have no real value as far as I am concerned.

Because hes fake and cant really cook.The best tv chef is Paula Dean she is real southern and is down to earth. Bobby Flay needs to get his butt kicked so that he can see how full of it he really is.

He thinks his poop doesn't stink, arrogant, thinks he's better than everybody, and it shows! I can't STAND him! I love Food TV, but I'd rather watch CNN when his show comes on, rather than him talk down to the viewers. I'd love to use more epithets, but the terms here won't let me spout my real hatred of him.
The only one who ranks higher on the a** scale is Thomas Keller. I know he doesn't have a show, but he bugs the crap out of me!

Oh Hell sure, this guy would desire to be working at an Applebee's or TGI Friday. have you ever been to Mesa Grill ? somewhat it sucks. Beside who died and left him the darling of the Kitchen set ? (and he's kinda smarmy too !)

He is kind of arrogant for a guy who grills with GAS. Any true BBQ aficionado knows that wood, or at least charcoal makes it BBQ. Gas? Might as well cook it in your oven...
