Urgent question about a thyroid endocrinologist...?

A long distance friend of mine went to a thyroid endocrinologist on Monday and never returned. Does anyone know if they ever keep any patients over night for monitoring?

They may sitck them in hospital for monitoring or urgent surgery. Depends on what the problem was.

i have never heard of one keeping them overnight before. I'd call the hospital to see if she was admitted there. But usually with a thyroid endocrinologist the problem isn't life threatening or so severe that their rushed off to the hospital.
