Heineken, which owns Amstel, does not market the regular Amstel in North America. Frankly it is possible it has even stopped marketing Amstel Light since it introduced Heineken Light a few months ago; I have not really noticed one way or the other whether both brands are now being sold.

The regular AMstel is Heinekin in America.
