some people have the ability to commit to their virtues and faith in spite of what others do to prove " mans inhumanity to man " as these were terrible atrocities committed but then there have been others both by and against each group.

I don't think they went because they were asked to go.
Most missionaries go where they go because they're called by God.
If you wanted to shed the light of truth into the darkest most evil places on earth, you'd go preach to muslims too.
