Unlike the man who said don't over rely on God, I understand differently. (I suspect he's scientoligist from the way he talks.) God calls us to completely rely on him, not only partly. That doesn't mean that we act foolishly with our resources though. There is an old saying that goes well with this:
Prayer is the least and the most we can do.
There are many programs that can help you out there, do a google search. Dave Ramsey is an excellent one which you can check out at www.daveramsey.com and takes a Christian perspective on handling finances. God will overcome your fears, he's good at it. It's not going to be easy. This is a trial that you have to face. But take joy, because through this trial you will develop perserverance, and your faith will be made stronger.
I'd encourage you to read James 1. God bless you as you go through this trial, and share with your daughter as God provides to show her the evidence of the living God.

Prayer is good, but don't burden God with things you can't afford. God wants you to be smart, not over reliant on Him.
As for extra money, there are evening jobs doing retail work, waiting tables or driving limousines.
As for addressing your fears:
1. Admit you are afraid.
2. Make a list of why you fear this thing, with the fear itself at the top of the page.
3. Make a list of solutions for each thing
4. Determine if this fear is in your power or not.
Critical thinking time: Is this house in your budget? If your rent is more than 50% of your monthly income, you're in trouble. Did you sign a lease? If you did, you need to get some extra income. Get another roommate or another job. If you didn't, it may be time to move on at the end of the month.
Good advice: Do NOT use your credit cards to pay bills. No matter how tempting it is, the interest rates will KILL you if you buy gas and groceries, and allow that balance to accumulate. You WILL be sorry once that balance is $4000+ at 25% interest.

Things work out but sometimes not the way we want or expect them too. Maybe you should try and get a less expensive place so you don't have that high rent every month. What always helps me is that I ask for guidance and just keep plugging along. I trust that the Lord will guide me in the right direction.

I know how you feel right now my boyfriends tires are so bad they can go at any time (1 ton van), however you have to have faith. Maybe you and your daughter need a smaller home. There is a purpose to this situation. The Bible says, look at the birds I provide for for them, surely you are more important then the birds.

Matthew 6:25-34
This passage is great! It's helped me so many times. The Lord has brought this to my mind when I wouldn't stop worrying about what was going to happen. And things always did work out

God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power love and of a sound mind.

Be an escort. They make a lot of money.
I overcome my fears by using logic and reasoning, suppression emotions, and asking for divinity to watch over me.
Good luck to you. Bless you
