You know, some might interpret this as a premature decision, but I feel that even if tiger Woods quit today he would still go down as the most talented golfer ever. I have been around for many years and have seen the golf greats. And although they were powerful, they just can't match Tiger. I cannot recall a player ever dominating an entire sport the way he can. When he is playing up to his potential (and even sometimes when he is not!) he can pull away by many strokes. Other players simply shake their heads with 9 holes to go. Man, the guy is simply a golf genius. A genius in the truest sense of the word.

Yes he is. SImply put, usually in sports we measure the greatest by the numbers. Tiger has them, and WILL have the majors easily when he's done. There's more: The way that Tiger wins. Not just being the best front-runner in the game and all of sports, but he figures out courses faster and better than anybody on the planet. Everytime out he's going against a field that would absolutely love to take Tiger down. With the persona that Tiger has created, instant fame or added fame comes with beating Tiger. Tiger can beat you with the Sasquatch, the 3Wood, or the 2Iron. You said it best, he is a true golf genius.

Not yet but it looks like he will be if he maintains the ambition. He's had his ups and downs and is not infallible. Tiger needs to be driven. He's playing for his father right now. When he realizes that golf will not keep his father alive, he may slow down a little. Don't forget Anika.

The most impressive thing about him is that the more fame and glory he receives, the better of a human being he seems to become. It usually works the other way.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

Tiger Woods is the most talented golfer of this generation. It is so difficult to compare golfers from one generation to another as the technology changes that are available today would have made Jack Nicklaus an even greater golfer than we know him as.

I think it will depend on how long Tiger plays. Of course, someone will eventually do even better than Tiger. Equipment changes will have a lot to do with that, though. Lately, Tiger has easily been the best, but he has a long way to go (hopefully).

I think from the accomplishment standpoint, the answer is no
right now. However, it's only a matter of time, before he becomes the greatest golfer of all time. He is the most talented golfer ever,
but from career accomplishments, he is trailing only Jack in my
book. I think Steffi Graf, in her prime, dominated women's tennis.
Rod Laver, Pete Sampras, and Roger Federer might be the
best candidates for men's tennis.
