Since the plasma TV in US is cheap compared to India i wanted to know how i can send them or how i can take them with me to India and the prime concern is i am not interested to pay any tax on them, coz that will turn out to be an hefty deal

Just pay the tax. You have cost the citizens of this country thousands of dollars in taxes just by visiting here.

buy one from a duty free shop.they are tax exempted.on the contrary.most people do with the unit is to make it look old or slightly used.they even put some dust they collected on a vacuum cleaner.sometimes even disassemble a part of the unit then put it back when at home.example,if you want to bring home a couple of dozens of a brand new shoes ,then you want it tax exempt,well separate right from left in a box. mail the other box and bring with you the other box. hope you get the point. good luck,(",)
