Braddock - W 51 (KO's 26) TF 86 - W pct 56% - KO pct 30% - wins over Baer and T. Farr - KO'ed by Louis and Scozza ( unknown fighter)

Braddock by a close split 15 rd decision.

Schmeling by decision. Braddock wouldn't have got knocked out he was blood and guts, just not enough skill to beat Schmeling.

I believe Max Schmeling would have beat him soundly unless there were some politics involved like when Schmeling was robbed fighting Jack Sharkey. Regardless of the outcome, Schmeling would still be remembered more for his historic and speedy loss to Joe Louis in their second meeting.
