Jehovah expected a lot from his chosen people. The purpose of these laws was to separate and keep them distinguishable from the other nations. They had much higher standards of cleaness and morality than any other. The law was to serve as a tutor to Christ, to show the Israelites that no matter how hard they tried, they were still sinful and needed a redeemer. Many of the laws , at first glance, seem very strict, but have proven to be of great benefit , especially for sanitary and health reasons. Their greatest value , though, is as an insight into the perfect laws of God than man has never been able to surpass.
Deuteronomy 30; 19 puts it best where it states " I do take the heaevens and the earth as witnesses against u today , that i have put life and death before you, the blessing and the malediction , and u must choose life in order that u may keep alive, u and your offspring."
So Jehovah gave them a choice and of course they had all the evidence from the miracles such as the 10 Plagues of Egypt , their rescue at the Red sea, and the manna sent from heaven. He promised them protection, rich blessings, and a wonderful future for obedience. However , disobedience would bring war, famine, hardship, strife, and death. This may seem harsh, but remember, that when they repented, He would rescue them from calamity. The final straw though is listed at Matthew 23; 37 where Jesus described Jerusalem as the the killer of the prophets and the stoner of those sent forth to her. Verse 38 says " your house is abandoned to you." They had rejected their own Messiah and thus cast off as God's special property.

i think of those are suggestions that bypass by using extremely some minds at one point or yet another. i think of the message of Christianity is uncomplicated, love your neighbour and help those in prefer. i think the great Bang is a danger and so is evolution. Jesus used parables many situations to make a element. It wasn't something he invented. it is been completed for millennia. Is the previous testomony a parable or is it literal? technological expertise says that the international took extra suitable than 6 days to create so Genesis ought to be a parable. Is it an ordinary way of explaining the great Bang and evolution. Have a examine replace the be conscious "day" with "age" or "era". technological expertise and faith at the instant are not contradictory. you have self belief in the two. All technological expertise does is show us how staggering the universe extremely is. there are diverse people who do incorrect. Who purely bypass to church on Sunday and forget Christianity something of the week. There are extra that do comprehend what Christianity is approximately and stay it daily. What faith means to you is what counts. do not permit people who abuse it effect your selection. examine the words of Jesus and allow that effect your selection. i understand 15 years looks like an prolonged time to you yet you're in simple terms being on the line of adulthood. there's an prolonged thank you to bypass yet. Your perspectives of the international are going to alter alongside the way. Jesus taught us that God is approximately forgiveness and expertise so in no way be terrified of God. permit your ethical experience be your handbook and allow me choose you each and every fulfillment alongside the line of existence. :-)

Why do we need the US Constitution and the US Code of Laws?
God spells out what He expects from us. It's up to us whether we follow those instructions.

not sure how the Jewish community views this, but the Bible says: Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom; But a child left to himself causeth shame to his mother.
