If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth.

In short, no pun intended, you can't. Putting pregnancy and illness aside, hair pretty much grows at a maximum rate of half an inch per month no matter what you do. A little faster in the summer than in the winter.
Of all the hair questions that we receive at Hair-Styles.org, questions regarding the speed of hair growth is by far the number one question. Many people write to us with remedies that they have heard about that will make their hair grow faster, from washing the hair with eggs, to cutting their hair during a new moon. This is what we at call, "Hair Voodoo". There is not an inch of truth to any of these remedies.

The B vitamins are good but what works for me are eating seeds like sunflower, etc and nuts. The oil and protein really makes a difference in my hair.

Eating healthily is the best way to do this. No milk not even cows drink there own milk. Plenty of water, veg and fruits, no soda, perservatives or food colourings, cooffee tea or other acidic drinks
