Why do girls always equate jealousy with love? Jealousy is a sickness, no one owns another person therefore they should not be so possessive that you cant talk to other people (including those of the opposite sex) or have friends or enjoy being on your own time without them...my advice is: Either you RUN...or you get him into therapy, but for goodness sakes, stop thinking that if he or she is jealous that it means they love you!! That is just stupid thinking. If you do neither and continue on the course you are on, your wake up call lwill be when he physically hurts you.....hopefully, it wont be something worse. pay attention to the red flag. Those that dont to hear, must feel.

What is wrong with people out there, he is the reason I find it hard to date because they think dating is ownership. You cannot make a jealous guy not be jealous understand that. Be careful and watch for other signs most men who are jealous also hit in the future.

Well if you have continually told him, then it will probably just take him some time to get used to you having guys as friends. Do you get jealous when he talks to other girls? It's a two way street here so give him a little slack he's prolly nervous about you leaving him, just make sure you reassure him a little each day. Good Luck

Hey there

You need to tell him that your not comfortable with him being jealous, specially if your just talking to a male.Ask him if he will feel good if you get jealous when he talks to females? Let him know that this is bothering you, so he can try to fix it.

Please know, a man who is always jealous is not good for a healthy relationship.

Jealously is a good thing to a degree. It will drive him to do things he wouldn't normally do for you to show he's the one for you. But all too often it can drive a person crazy if they dwell on it. In short, there's nothing you can do for him. It's something he's got to deal with. Just reassure him you like him and sooner or later he will have to realize that he is lucky to have a woman that cares for him that is fun and attractive enough to get other guy's attention. That should be flattering to him.

Jealousy usually stems from some sort of insecurity about the relationship. You can try talking to him and reassuring him that you are faithful to him but it might not help. He needs to resolve what ever issues he has, if its really a problem he might need proessional help (a psychologist). Expecting that you aren't going to talk to other people, male or female, is unrealistic.

Dump the guy NOW! Jealousy is nothing to play around with nor will they ever get over being jealous.

In this case jealousy sounds more like a lack of trust. It is normal to feel jealous but when you love someone and are in a relationship with them then you have to trust that person. You need to explain to your boyfriend that his actions show a lack of trust and respect for you and are not proof of his love.

If he trusts you and has good self-esteem he won't be jealous.

You can laugh and talk with anybody you want....he doesn't own you.

Be careful of men who are too jealous it can get out of hand very fast.
