Theology is to study God and Divine things. It means you are a person who has a desire to know God and perhaps a desire to help others know God. The Bible is the primary course of study as it is God's Word and speaking today.

The common meaning is a study of God and Jesus Christ based on the bible and the conclusions reached under the heading of SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY
An example would be as follows under the heading of salvation
