So i have these stretch marks or something and i was wondering if there is any way to get rid of them. they are like dark red and are on my thighs/stomach. i dont really understand why i have them as i am not nor ever was obese. i am a little fat like average size but never big enough to get stretch marks or so i thought.
Here is a pic of me I don't look fat but i am a little bit: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e315/DreWRoolZ/pic071106_1.jpg

I know tons of people with them, including myself, and some of these people have them just as a side effect of puberty, growing, and significant weight loss/gain.

Anyways, I know Palmer's makes a Cocoa Butter product for strech marks, but it's labeled for pregnant women. I'm sure you can use it even if you're not pregnant, but I've never tried it so I don't know how well it works. (it's at local drug stores)

Micro-dermabrasion will also help with stretch marks. You can either get this done professionally (which I'm sure will be costly!) or they also have at-home kits which run about $25-35 at drug stores. I know Loreal and Neutrogena make a couple of them. I've looked into this as well since I have scars I want to get rid of and it works for that too, but I haven't ever bought them yet.

Lastly, my friend used to rub Rose Hip oil on her stomach when she was pregnant to help avoid getting stretch marks and that seemed to work well for her. Oh yeah - I think you can also get laser therapy like the procedure similar to what people get for varicose/spider veins, but I'm not 100% sure on that. You might wanna look it up if you have time.

i have those too, puberty wasn't nice to me. i used to use a lotion that's made for pregnant women. i didn't like how it smelled after a while so i stopped. i've kinda just learned to ignore these stretch marks. try mederma i've seen it on tv, or if you're really worried about it i'm sure there's some medical procedure to get rid of them.

STretch marks fade with time, lots of time. The damage has been done and you can't undo it.
