If you are pregnant this is normal. Your aerola becomes darker dring pregnancy. It is said this is for breastfeeding purposes, it is called a "target" so the baby knows where to latch on.

Well, considering you asked this in pregnancy forum, it's due to your hormones. Alot of women have darker pigmentation on their areola when they are pregnant, and you are probably starting to produce colostrum or pre-milk which is why your breasts are 'lumpy'.

PS- If you're not pregnant, you really need to see a doctor!

If you are pregnant, your milk factory is getting ready to feed your new baby. If you are seeing little "pimplish" looking bumps around your areolas, those are the Montgomery Glands which help to clean and lubricate your nipples.
