Not sure whether respect for anybody inpartiicular comes into this.
God's usual line to the Jews was to kill those who lived in the land of Caanan and take the land as a gift from God.
Sincr the assumption has to be that God owned the land and everything living on it, he had a perfect right to terminate certain races/peoples.
If the "Gift of God" still holds true, and there's nothing written anywhere to suggest differently, it's the Jews who have the rights to that land in the first place.
Mohommed was careful to alter the words of the Torah when he authored the koran in order to try to make a claim on any land(s) he fancied at the time.
However, this doesn't really come into the issue of the commandments. What makes you think that any have been broken? All that was done was done at God's explicit request (or order). Therefore it counts as an exemption. After all, you might not kill people as part of the commandment, but would you kill the typhoid baccilus or the syphilis bacterium? And would you bother about it? All the commandments have to be applied rationally.

No the war in Israel is foretold in the scriptures, most things in the Old Testiment went in 7 year cycles, we are in year 6 of the existing cycle. We can expect that things will get better in07 and should be resolved in08.

He is, but not those commandments. We don't listen, we get punished by a third party. It's not for what we do to them; that's self-defence. It's what we do to each other, and to G-d.
