Off white (or even white) since it makes the room seem cleaner, brighter, and cleaner.
Plus it makes easier to change the look when you get bored, or when seasons change, by only changing decoration, no need to repaint, then.
Try giving color to your room by adding colorful linens and pillows, flowers and other decoration items.

Think cool calm colors. My room is painted a light green on the bottom and a light blue on the top with white boarders and a white chair rail in the middle seperating the two colors.
Try light pink, blue, green, or purple (like lavender.)

I don't think there is a "best color". Pick you favorite colors. Go to HomeDepot...etc. Get paint swatches of you favorite colors. Tape them to the wall and see what looks best. I would recommend a soft color; nothing harsh or bright. When you choose a color, accent w/throw pillows; etc. I have a nice green in one bedroom, lavendar in my daughters, and a really cute cotton candy pink in the other. It sounds yuk, but looks so cute. It is a spare room. I have a creamy yellow in the dining room, living room and hall; a deeper yellow in the kitchen (its called sunporch yellow) and in the florida room I have a tangerine orange. Don't be afraid of color. It expresses who you are. Personally I don't don't care for neutral colors; it looks like you are afraid to pick a color. (but that is just my opinion)! Good Luck!!!!!!

MY bedroom is cobalt blue and silver w/ lots of wood! But I don't recommend this for everyone.
What colour makes you feel good and yet is restful to you? That is the colour you should choose.
If that doesn't help- greens are the most restful, Reds promote passion, Oranges make you hungry, Yellows give energy, Blues give strength and can be calming, Whites and off whites go with anything. Earth tones are warmer. greens and blues are more cooling. Hope this helps instead of confusing you. Just decide what mood you want and choose the colour accordingly.

You have listed some great color choices. If you are unsure try taping up small paint samples to see the effect. You could also do the walls one color and the ceiling another color you could go for similar colors or contrast ex. pink, brown-- blue green -green, look for examples you find appealing in mags-go for something you find interesting. Have fun with it ! !

I can say that there is no particular GOOD color.. it is a personal thing.. You are the one who has to live there.. You are the one who looks at it all the time.. BUT.. you did ask me so I would say(as I have on my bedroom walls) ... a light beige(called cracked wheat).... in the other bedroom, I have a very light algae green.. It is(both colors) are modern, soft and soothing.

Nearly any sort of blue is good for a bedroom... the color blue can be very relaxing.

Naturey-sort-of-Greens can be as well.
