if I go outside, she waits at the door and tries to open it to get to me.

if im in the shower, she yowels at the door. If I let her in, she sits in the sink or peeks at me in the shower.

it's cute, I just don't think its healthy.

It's because you are hot! Who wouldn't want to follow you around? Heck, I'm following you. Look outside your window. That's me waving!

(kidding!)

Your kitty, loves you. That kind of unconditional love is hard to find. Enjoy it.

I don't know how old your cat is, but if she is still fairly young, she is doing this because you are her mama. My kitty still follows me around and cries if she is locked out of the room I am in. I know she will grow out of it soon, so I enjoy it while I can. It's normal behavior for a kitty whom is well loved to want to be with the person she loves back.

So don't worry, you kitty is fine.

Your cat loves your company... if you want to have a way to have your cat stop following you around as much, get them a pal... another kitten or cat to play with. That helps sometimes because then you aren't their only companion.

My cat does the same thing. I think it's just because our cats like us and want to hang around with us.
