Talk to your sister, luv...

If she's completelly over him (and him, her) then there shouldn't be a problem. But affairs of the heart are so complex sometimes, so it would be best to talk openly to your sister if she's over him properly...

After all, you two are sisters, and should be able to communicate such things, right?

She's your sister and they did date for a year. It sounds like you and her are close and you don't want to mess that up. If it's meant to be with this guy nothing will change that. I would find a way to make less time for the guy and more with your sister. At least you can find out where she stands on him and if it would be a problem. Since you are just friends and he doesn't know how you feel it shouldn't hurt him to back off a little, even if you have to say you feel that it makes her uncomfortable right now. Good Luck!!!

Your sister definitely comes first. I would suggest you talk with your sister first. If this bothers her even a tiny bit, you should cut back your communication and visits from this guy. I know this may be sad at first but you and he will get over it. However, if you continue this relationship with him and this upsets your sister, this could really have a bad effect on the sister relationship. Don't EVER, NEVER, EVER put a guy in between the sister relationship. Honor and respect family.

You need to get away from this boy because you don't want to hurt your sister over some boy that you like because your relationship with your sister is more important than some boy that you like so think about it you could lose your sister.

You should talk to your sister before you make a BIG mistake....and even then she might say that she doesn't care, but deep down she does. My input on this one is to stay as far away from this guy as you can......atleast until your sister finds a new boyfriend...haha

Dear X
It is definitely going to be painful for your sister. Be sure about that. But you have to decide between trade off.. Is this guy worth it? If yes then go ahead after all u r living for yourself not for your sister.
Best wishes

Distance yourself from this guy. Family is more important. Try talking to your sister in a "hypothetical situation" and see what she thinks. Life isn't fair.

Don't let a guy ruin the relationship with your sister. It's not worth it, and apparently neither is he.

Don't let a guy ruin your relationship with your sister...most guys aren't even worth risking that.
