It is as the rest say.
What they can and can not do though, its not what you see on the tv.
They basically protect the rights of the Military on base.
They make wills, give advice on divorce matters.
Give out powers of attorneys. They can not represent, nor do anything to or with you in any way outside of the military.
If an active duty member gets into trouble out in town, JAG can not save his butt.
They are mainly for the base, and paperwork.
There are also Marine JAG's too!!
