Sometimes I need a break between studying, and responding to questions helps me grow spiritually since I usually have to look up some scriptures. Plus, once in a blue moon, someone actually appreciates and can use the information I find, so that's a plus. I doubt anyone actually gets saved on the internet, unfortunately :(

There is nothing more important than communication and sharing knowledge and observations and points of view.
People who are asking questions are at least still "looking".
Unlike those who have become "robots" in todays society.
Doing work takes many forms. Any effort directed towards increasing knowledge and understanding is effort well spent!
Don't knock it, or feel guilty, it's probably the only thing that's
keeping you sane in this crazy place.

I feel some minor guilt over it. But it's a good outlet for mental stimulation and getting a good look into the psyches of other people. I see the benefit and I also go to other sections and give real heartfelt answers. I am self-employed and also play taxi service to my kids. I leave my computer on and go back and forth. Multi-tasking. :-)

I've scheduled my classes so that I have the early afternoon to do my homework before my son gets home.That, and I feel like goofing off, I don't have any work due til Friday, and I know a bit about religions,the bible, theology, history, etc.Let's hear it for a 3.9 GPA.

I have nonthing else to do but sit at my computer and wast time all day long. Plus the questions and answers are instresting.

the other sections r not half as exciting. tried tech--no good, only broken comps, or defective windows; tried politics and government--too strong anti and pro US biases.................religion: that is a section where the kinkiest questions get the most interesting answers. no???
