why are you asking strangers ?? if you want our permission, well you have it.... but, if you are asking for an excuse NOT to.. well, I dont think your gonna get it, unless you dont love her... she is ready it seems, and you are not.. ask her if you are ready, dont if your not... but , do not be surprised if she decides not to sit around and wait for you... You've been with her for ten years. I assume you love her and things have been going well... if not then you need to let her know so things can be fixed or so you two can break up. If things are going well, though, why haven't you taken the next step already? If there's no good reason why you haven't asked her, then come up with a romantic date, have the ring ready, and ask her already!!! I just hope you haven't waited TOO long!

As men/women get to a certain age...they look kinda funny in bars. I use to be a bartender and when I saw older men/women I would just laugh at them for not being married because I would assume, what is wrong with you? So does the rest of the people...we think loser!!!!
Also, if a man/woman is not married by a certain age..others do look at you kinda funny because we assume ...what is wrong with this person?

Why must you ask for our opinions (who are strangers & hardly even know you)? You'd better ask yourself whether you wanna marry her or not... You have wasted her 10 wonderful years (coz she's been faithful to you) so what are you waiting for? Stop fooling around & don't waste her time... If I were her, I'd been asking the same thing too...

There is an old saying for this "sh*t or get off the pot"
If you don't want to marry her then stop wasting her time, if you do then get off your butt and make it happen.
10 years is a long time to be sitting around and waiting.

I understand her for asking... And i reccomend you to start thinking serious, would you like to spend the rest of your life with her??if not.. I think you're wasting your and her time... Or think about 3 good things and 3 bad things you like and hate about her...are the bad things more important to you than the good ones? if not... marry her...good luck!

do what you feel is right follow your heart If you think you should marry her then ask her, don't do it because she is pressuring you, my friend did that and they got divorced in 2 years and for over a year of it he lived in another state so they couldn't see each other

im sorry but i have to ask this r u clever enough to differentiate between a child and a teenager.if no then just see ,a child doesn't know what a life is she just knows people around her.i think u too know it coz u too must have come acroos childhood.

yes! it is unfair to her if you kept her waiting this long and not ask her. why would you stay with a girl for that long and decide not to get married?
