they are called relics. Im a Catholic and you somtimes see them in the church.

Body parts???? I have never seen a medal with an image of "body parts"?? I have seen many medals with images of Christ and of the saints, simple reminders of our precious Lord and Savior, and of the holy men and women who have gone before us and who serve as models of outstanding Christian holiness.
