I have read allot of comments coming from atheist stating that "the more education one has, the less they beleive" I dont know where you get your information from but just look at the history chanel..ALl those historians looking for the biblical marking on the earth today..Go to an advocate hospital and you will see doctors praying with the patient before there surgery. These are just a few..I think these people has had extensive amount of learning...So why would u think that education will make christians beleive less??

Good question, considering that some of the greatest human minds who have ever lived, who have changed the course of human thinking and human existence in major ways, have been Christian theologians/philosophers.
I am a Christian because I have explored it in depth, with an open heart and mind, and found it to be the truth. You are not a Christian because you have not bothered to do so. I have two masters degrees and a doctorate in pathobiology.

I think that a few Christians do give All Christians a bad name. The ones I have come in contact with are quick to judge, do not except new ideas, and are too quick to tell you that if you don't live by the bible you are going to hell. Here's a question: If you live a good life, whether your gay or not. You don't kill people, beat your wife, rape children or woman, steal etc. but you don't go to church. Then Why? Do some Christians insist on telling you your going to HELL. Why? Because I'm a good person or because I don't follow their crazy ideas of everyone being the exact same and letting no one have their own opinions or beliefs. I think religion is a GREAT thing but to push it onto people is NOT! It's not that Christians are uneducated it's that they are too quick to judge other people. If they believe in GOD then they should believe that GOD doesn't judge. He loves!

Some of your fellow Christians on yahoo answers give real true Christians a bad name. One guy kept making comparisons between God and Santa Claus and he was trying to use this analogy to prove that God is real. Then you have the other types that love to judge others and pretend that they're holier than thou with no concrete evidence to back up with they're saying. I have nothing against Christians as a whole but even you have to admit that some of your fellows Christians make your religion look worse than any atheist, agnostic, or any other non-Christian ever could.

I don't think you are uneducated at all. What I think is that you are closed minded, mostly bigots and afraid to question why you believe what you do.
Would you buy KABOOM just because Billy Mays says so? Would you buy a car just because the salesman says to? Would you believe in Scientology just because John Travolta told you to?
Then why are you Christian just because your parents told you to be one?
What annoys me so much is that Christians blindly believe what they do without question. Even when a book like Misquoting Jesus comes along, or the story of Mithras (Who was a supposed god WAY before Christ, but has the exact same story as Jesus) they STILL refuse to question their beliefs. Like I said...closed minded and/or unable to think for themselves...they just follow the herd like good little sheep.

Well I admit I dont have a education. But I do know the bible pretty good. Lot of it I have forgotten. As the saying goes if you don't use it you lose it. With seizures I have lost alot cause I aint in the word of God much.

This drives me crazy! I am definitely going to have to stop coming to this page. You notice that most people here are atheist and do you want to know why? They want to know more about religion. True Christians don't doubt their faith, but you see that the atheist don't trust them self and they want to learn more! About Religion! For all you atheist (and all your knowledge!), how do you think the earth was created? Why do you think things work?

I am highly educated.
I am a Christian by my own choice, no one shoved it down my throat.
It is my choice and I made it. Those who've made different choices have every right to. I do not judge others by the choices they've made, solely on the basis that those choices are different from my own.

People who believe the bible are ignorant of science. If not they are choosing to ignore it. Either way they are either ignorant or delusional.
