A man who cries and shows his emotions is the best. At least I'd know that he has a heart.

Was married to the emotionally closed one and then dated the cry baby right after my divorce and let me tell you that neither is any picnic. My ex would never open up about anything and it drove me nuts bc it made it pretty much impossible to work things out. It left me frustrated and beginning to close myself off and build up my guards which probably laid the groundwork for the divorce. The rebound cry baby guy was just too emotional and cried pretty much everytime I saw him. At first I admired it because I was not used to a guy being so open and expressive with their emotions but after awhile, I had to say enough is enough. He would drag out any lil bicker or just disagreement we had (and I mean some of them were completely trivial and stupid) and we'd spend hours discussing how he felt, then how I felt and then I'd have to watch him cry throughout. So after enduring both, I would say that its ok for a man to cry and it's ok for a man not to cry so long as it is not taken to the extremes that both of these guys did.

I believe ladies would say a man who shows his emotions is a warm person the other way a cold person and that could be a problem because he would have no compassion for anyone else but himself

well provided hes not a blubbering wreck at the drop of a hat - I like a man that cries occassionally! But one that would be sniffling away somewhere like in the cinema at a weepie film - Id draw the line at that! xx

Cries because it shows that they have emotions too, i think its really sweet, but if my boyfriend cried about everything it might be a bit too much.

i like my man to be manly when he has to be, and show his emotions when he needs to. if a man never crys in front of you he`s doing it somewhere, therefore hiding how he feels. everyone has feelings and emotions and it is natural for a man to cry unless it is over a soppy film, then he`s just being a soppy tart lol

To be honest, I like man to be a man. Obviously, I think it's fine for men to cry and in some situations you would just not be human if you didn't cry, but I wouldn't want a bloke that blubbed at every harrowing soap story line and weepy chick flick!!

I like a man to have emotions but I don't want him blubbering all the time! I have seen my husband cry twice in ten years and it broke my heart both times.
