No way. That would be totally counter-productive to them learning to live and deal with problems as an adult in society. If you teach them to fight to solve problems, then that's the method they think should be used to solve problems with their wives and children, their neighbors, their co-workers. Violence only leads to more violence, and nevers solves any problem. Don't we have enough wife-beaters and child abuse and workplace violence already? So the loser doesn't like it and brings a gun to school and kills the winner and his friends, then kills himself or dies in a hail of gunfire with the police. No way should that be an answer to anything, and it is TOTALLY against the teachings of martial arts.

Why do these questions keep repeating? I already answered:

You're asking the wrong question. The right question is" Should there by MMA fights in schools?" The answer is emphatically NO!!!!!!! There are studies showing that kids who participate in so called "sport" or "modern" martial arts (really not martial arts, just fighting systems) have lower grades & more discipline problems than average. On the other hand, kids who participate in traditional martial arts have higher grades & fewer discipline problems than average.

The schools and most of the parents wouldn't support it. The fighters would have to sign a waiver that the school wouldn't be held liable for any injuries. Since the fighters would be minors, the waiver wouldn't be valid. If you feel like fighting, look for local MMA matches, like Tough Man Contests. Your parents would have to sign a waiver though.

Violence purely finally ends up in extra violence, and nevers solves any situation. do not we've adequate spouse-beaters and newborn abuse and place of work violence already?
