What does it mean when a guy keeps all his nails short except but the one on his little finger?
I saw a guy today and all his nails where short except for his little finger on this one hand. Why??! Its was really longer then the others and its clear he wanted it that way.

Yep for snorting coke and to let others know that he does it. Makes it easier to identify him as a dealer or a buyer. I hope your not thinking of dating this loser.

It is typically kept that way for using the narcotic known as Cocaine. Typically the long nail is 'dipped' into a vial of Cocaine and a 'bump' or small amount of this drug is inserted into the nostril for the purpose of using this drug by sniffing or 'snorting' it up ones nose. next time you see someone with a nail like that, ask them if they are a 'cokehead', and see how embarrassed they act. Most people grow it because they think it looks cool, to emulate drug users.

Some men, though I haven't seen only one finger, keep their nails longer on one hand if play guitar... also, a lot of cocaine addicts and other "snort-able" druggies keep one fingernail long to do a scoop-n-snort method.

Someone told me it was a sign of wealth. Rich people could let their nails grow long. Somehow it carried over, but not to all nails.

My first thought is that he uses it somehow to take drugs. You know, like snort cocaine. What do I know? My daughters laugh at my naivety sometimes.

it is called a Coke nail. many of my friends have them and still snort coke, i stick the weed myself.

Oh it maybe one of the "Guy Thing" or maybe he's using it to dig his ears?! yah...he always forget the cotton buds on his shopping list...that's maybe why.
