When I was a kid, I used to buy a lot of ice cream from ice cream trucks. They used to sell these types of frozen bars, that were rectangular in shape and about the twice the size of a tv remote. They would come in a clear plastic covering and you would cut out one end and start sucking on it as you pushed it through the plastic. They came in all flavors, cherry, watermelon, and my favorite--cola. Anyone know where I can find some info on these online or what they're called?

thanks for the answers, but NOT pushups. these have no stick and are like long rectangles in a clear plastic. they also look like frozen liquid. i used to buy them from ice tream trucks all over LA in the 90's.

These sound like freezer bars, and they are good. If you are looking for the big ones, they sell them at bakery thrift shops for $.25 a piece. I am not sure if they make cola flavor anymore, but they have blue raspberry, pineapple, cherry, grape, and orange! I hope this is what you needed, good luck with your quest!

Yeah, they sell them in SOME grocery store freezers, but they are hard to find. I think they're called push pops or something. They were so good!

Push-ups. They now have the Flintstones on the packaging, but I don't think they have cola flavor though.
