The fact that The US has been involved in most wars since WW2, i.e vietnam, Gulf War1, Afghanistan etc.... and now there are four countries that they have military interest in, doesn't it make you wonder who is the real threat to peace in the world?

The US has gone to war telling it's citizens that they're are protecting their freedom and safety, yet none of these countries have attacked anyone. Terrorist groups are differnt to terrorist countries.

Yes, mayebe there are groups out there like Hamas and Al Qaeda, but America seems to be the only terrost country at the moment.

and a note to DamDawg, Great Britain, Russia and the other allies foguth WWII and kept the resistance at bay. America turned up tpwards the end, you can't take all the glory. And it's funny that the very technology that we're discussing now (nuclear weapons) is the the very same technology that America used to save itself. A world of contradiction.

Most people on discussions like this boast the might of the US, and are naturally biased, thinking that America should use it's force. But isn't that NK are trying to do? And yet NK haven't even threatened anyone yet.

Give me as many thumbs-down as you want, the truth may be hard to swallow but facts don't lie.

Lets see. Iraq is a disaster and the Taliban is making a come back in Afghanistan. The idea of us trying to deal with Iran and N Korea at the same time scares the hell out of me.

You mean five fronts. Because if we go against Iran, Syria will be in the middle of it, too.

We can win on multiple fronts if we are forced into that situation. We did it during WWII and we were a lot less powerful then than we are now.

I hope that we never have to test this premise.

We haven't even scratch the serface of our capabilities yet. We have not even had our daily lives impacted one iota from these actions. So I feel very confident of the abilities of the US.
