I try to read him a book every day. Thanks for reminding me. He's been kicking a lot lately and i probably should read him a story before he punctures my liver or breaks a rib.

:)

She reads to me or grandma for 20 minutes a day at the minimum. She reads more only if she wants to. Then I read her 2 to 3 chapters in her book at least every other night. I go to school at night a few days a week so I'm not there every night to read to her.

I read my son about 2 or 3 books everyday. He is 3 and still at home. so, I will try to read a book or 2 in the morning and one at bedtime. My daughter is in school, so I usually just read her a book at bedtime, unless it is a school assignment. She is 4.

My daugther is almost three years old. From since she is two we read something every day. At her playgroup they also read in the day. You have to keep it short because their attention span is not that long yet, so she loses interest after about 10 minutes.

At least 15 minuets every night. My girls are 4 and 5. They make me read to them before bed. I get annoyed sometimes, to be honest, but I still get talked into it.

at least once a day i read to mine now and shes not even born yet :)! the more you work with your childeren and not just reading the faster they learn! childeren are like sponges when they are little.they become more inquizitive and thus meaning more intellect they gain bye you feeding them answers to their questions.so work with them and read and play with them as much as possible because before you know it they will be all growed up!have fun with it :)
