I left it sitting on my computer desk and he climbed up and ate it off my plate. I'm keeping a close watch on him, but I'm wondering if its something I'll need to see the vet about. IE: is he gonna have to pull it out of the dogs *** because he wont be able to defacate it out. he is a pretty hardy dog so I'm not to worried.(he has a tendency to eat just about every edible thing in the house) I mean he ate easter grass last year and it went right through him so im just not sure...

Just watch his feces to make sure it comes out. If it has not passed by tommorrow call your vet to get his take on the situation.
