You already know that you are supposed to eat sensible amounts of a varied selection of the correct food groups and to lose or gain weight youtake in more or less calories than you regularly burn.

Bulimia is just something silly you are doing to yourself. Pull your finger out. Act sensibly, you don't need to rely on other people for help and you don't need mental and then ongoing physical problems to get people's attention.

Saying pull your finger out sounds harsh and I don't mean it that way. I have seen the effects of bulimia on several people. Each of them ended up costing healthcare professionals valuable time (and therefore our money as tax payers) but only 'got better' from their made up disease when they realised they were being silly and began to moderate food intake. Giving this a name and blaming others for mental state only serves as an excuse for carrying on with your current practices. Make yourself get better. People around you will love and respect you all the more for it.

You've got to control your intake of food and burn more calories than you eat because bulimia is a fear of gaining weight. You have to take this a day at a time, I'm a sufferer of this also. So I know what your dealing with. ( I konw as long as I don't eat fatty foods or alot of food I'm ok but if I over do it thats when I'm in trouble).

i got over it on my own but i only binged and purged for about a month. if its been a habit for a long time you need to see a professional bc its hard to control on your own. it was hard to stop without becoming anorexic. people thought i was anorexic bc i would eat barely anyhting in front of them bc it was hard to eat without stuffing my face(binging). i just learned to control my eating again. its all about self control. i wish i could tell you some helpful websites but all i have is my experiences. email me if you need more help or anything. kristelqueen@hotmail.com. good luck love.

I had to get help for it, but what did it for me was once I realized that all of the enemas and laxatives were going to STOP my body from naturally eliminating itself if I kept it up, and that I would have to have a colostomy, (bag attached for bowel movements ), I stopped.

You need to speak with a mental health professional. It's not something you get over on your own.

if you don't want to 'pay' a doctor you can google it and find a whole bunch of info on the disease which it is...... and it's difficult to get over.. to do it alone is tough.... you need to stop it however...you've taken the first step by admitting you need help. good luck
