can you get fired fo grabbing a customer's chest at work??? the other day this lady came in and she kept askin me where stuff was in the store...and it was real obvious...so i thought she be flirting. so i just went with it. and she threw a fit and now i am fired. how you women get away with that????

You not only could but should be fired. Even if that woman caused no problem for the store to have an employee that has so little foresight is a big liability to them.
If you, even now, can't see what you did wrong...that is the problem. Have you ever heard the saying.....the customer is always right? It makes no difference what this woman did you had no right grabbing her anywhere.
What you clearly do not understand is that woman do not always have in mind what you do. Her actions should only have been a source of frustration or amusement to you but nothing else. Even if she would have grabbed you or tried to kiss you.....you....as an employee of the store......do not react back.
You put the store at risk with your behavior. There are people out there that will do all they can to cause an incident just so they can sue the store.
Never, ever do this again.

Its not about women getting away with anything. You got fired because you touched a part of a woman that should not be touched unless told you can. Even if she was flirting, flirting does not mean "grab my breasts". A real man would not do that. You got fired because you did something you werent supposed to do. Ask your mom or your sister if they would throw a fit if a man did that to them.. Think about it like this, if you were out at a store with your mom, and some guy who worked there grabbed her breast and she made a fuss what would you do???

You were at work and that wasnt a good place to make sexual advances. Grabbing a woman breast that you dont know could have lead to more than you being fired.If the woman was flirting with you the best thing to do was to ask for a number. She might have been flirting but you took it to another level. There is a difference.Hope that this incident hasnt stained your employment history. Its hard finding other employment with a sexual harassment dismissal on your file.Good luck.

why would you be so NOT smart, and grab a womans chest while your at work and on the clock? A customer none the less. Have you never been taught to 'keep your hands to yourself'? That is ethics and morals and self control and respect all in one. I can see why you were fired. Blessed be.

Barney, it's just an unfair world out there. I don't know why she didn't just get friendly and grab you....women's lib, equal pay, sexual harassment, the women are just ganging up on the guys and trying to ruin all the fun. You're kidding right? Yeah, be lucky if you don't end up in court over that one. I don't care if she was flirting or not, or even if you were on the job or at a night club. Grabbing someones chest is just NOT acceptable behavior!
