Is it just me, or have you noticed that in so many cases, one's name kinda fits thier appearance. For instance, I knew a kid whose name was Dougie Cludzinski. He was NOT the capt. of the football team. That, of course was Brad Stone. Or how about Vance Du Ravasche? He wore a dickie, was gay, too. How the hell could his parents have known? Ever hear of a guy living in the South Bronx Projects named Lawrence Van Crippensburgh III? Joe Hammerfist--Drama Club? Chess Team? I don't think so. Ruth Scnithselbecker, Homecoming Queen? negative. Question is: are we all destined to become what our names foreshadow?

Myself, being a mere rat, (although a rat with poise), I certainly hope not.

I have a friend in Idaho who named his two boys Richard and Robert. His name is Ron Hedd. Hope they don't use Dick and Bob.

Ah, but what is in a name? A rose by any other name, still smells so sweet. but then you might be on to something, my name is John, and as John is a boring, common name, I'm a very board, worthless, common person, every Tom, Dick, and Harry's name is John!

Maybe yes, we're just experiencing that kind of a feeling when you called that person's name many many times. So, if you imagine that name and the face of that person, I think the two fits perfectly to each other. We made it a habit to call his/her name in that name, and I think no one will erase our names to us, those names even exist now in the Book of Life. But in modern times, we occasionally fashion our names in different name that never associated with our real names, but the names we created just for fun reflect on the things you like and what suits you best.

Yes, my name is John too, and I know it's too normal and used. That's why I fashion many many names just to seperate me from those Johns in the world, but still, I would still be John...
